I would not combine natural stone coasters and a table with a glass top. The biggest problem I've experienced is a glass sweating, the coaster sticking to the bottom of the glass, and then - halfway up - gravity wins, coaster falls to table, coaster and/or table are ruined.

Yes, yes, yes to allllll of this!! I hear you. People start to kind of Back. Away. Slowly. when they ask me what I'm up to lately and I start ticking things off with the fingers on both hands :) We're kidless as well and so it's nice to have that friend-family to celebrate with. The last three years or so, we've had big group gatherings for the major holidays and I'm excited that this year's celebrations will be even bigger. So glad you're building your tribe out there <3

I've been struggling with this too and I'm not even engaged yet! I'm the last Minassian in my family and my uncle will probably never get married so it would suck to have the name end with me. Glad to see you so happy though! Congrats!

A yoga teacher told me yesterday that a tai chi teacher told HER that every step on the way there IS "there." So, from a tattooer and teacher and chronically self imposed busy not-housewife and not-mom, to you, not-farmer, I'd say, we're there.

I did grow all of those things! Fig and cheddar is one of my favorites but we also took some of them and made a delicious jam!

We removed the stems on about a pound of figs and chopped them up, soaked them in the juice from one lemon with a teaspoon of vanilla and a half cup of sugar for about an hour and then boiled it for fifteen minutes and mashed it up. So delicious!!!

wooowww you grow all those things in your garden!? That's amazing. I must try figs with cheddar cheese. I made myself eat figs for the first time last year, I tried them fried in honey, and I must say, I wasn't a fan. Can you recommend any other good ways to eat them?

That picture of you with the roses! Omg! Print that out as big as you can and hang it in your house, thats one that i would want to keep forever and show my kids someday when im old and wrinkly. Or, print it out as big as you can and give it to your parents so it doesnt feel so egotistical. :-)
